Roster: Monday to Friday (5/2) 6am- 4pm Location: Perth - Maddington WA Employment Type: Casual to Perm About the Role Join a dynamic team of Heavy Diesel Mechanics and create impact across Field Service, Workshop, and Flashbutt Maintenance. Based in Perth, this role involves maintaining loaders, excavators, small-engine rail machinery, and Flashbutt Welders. Duties & responsibilities: Maintain and service small to mid-range plant loaders, excavators, and small engine rail equipment. equipment, and LV's Diagnose faults and breakdowns across the fleet Perform planned maintenance and servicing Record work logs, repairs, and maintenance Conduct safety duties (inspections, planning, risk assessments) Meet deadlines and report delays to the supervisor Manage stock levels and reorder parts as needed Inspect tools and equipment regularly. Skills & experience Trade Certification: Heavy Diesel, Hydraulics, Fitter, or Drill Fitter (AUS/NZ Recognised) Experience in assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic systems. Basic knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components Flashbutt Welding experience (highly regarded). Construction (White) Card. Full C Class Driver’s License (HR preferred) Current First AID, CPR or Fire Attack training Off Road All Terrain 4WD Course (desirable) A strong safety mindset and proven experience in a similar role.
